Biden on Barack (and other hypocrisy)
It’s been quite a week for the country. Obama names Joe Biden as his running mate. Change????????
Michelle Obama made a good speech Monday night, saying those magic words (I love my country), See my blog on her June Cleaver speech at http://otd-log.blogspot.com/2008/08/bama-mama-or-june-cleaver.html#links .
Obama, with the audacity of hope and a message of change (Yes, we can!), selected the fifth longest sitting US Senator as his VP. He picked a man from the Northeast, an inside-the-beltway guy. Barack didn’t even curry the favor of the Duke and Duchess of Clinton, even though she received over 18 million votes in the primaries. (He’ll pay for that.) And then there is this clip, courtesy YouTube:
So when running for President, Biden says Obama’s not ready. Does he think it will be a co-presidency? Or maybe Biden sees it at a chance for the #1 again, turning on Obama like he did in the video. Which is it Joe, is he ready or not? Don’t answer that, no one would believe you anyway. But some of your fellow Democrats know who is ready.

Words penned by royalty, Sir Walter Scott, 200 years ago. but they have beem improved by British poet J. R. Pope.
O, what a tangled web we weave,
When first we practise to deceive!
But when we’ve practised quite a while
How vastly we improve our style.

Let’s not change democracy into hypocrisy. Let’s elect a straight-talker.
